 My name is Jeff Sotok. I am a 1981 graduate of WOHS. I have been serving on the WOEF board since 1999. I am currently the Board President, and also on the Finance Committee. I enjoy serving on the board as a way to give back to West Ottawa Public Schools. Over the years we have had the opportunity to fund numerous programs for the elementary, middle, and high schools. It’s exciting to see the programs in action, and the impact they have on our students. 

I have been on the WOEF Board since 2014 in various roles.. I am the parent of two West Ottawa graduates and a current WOHS student.  I have been involved previously at the North Holland Elementary school, serving as the PTO present for several years and also serve as an assistant coach for the Middle School Science Olympiad teams.. A I am also a child of an educator who was passionate about innovative teaching,

 I've had the pleasure of being a parent, teacher, coach, principal, and Assistant Superintendent in West Ottawa over the last 20+ years.  As a representative for our district on this board, I enjoy being the bridge between our schools and WOEF which brings new and innovative ideas that our WO staff envision to our team.  It's exciting to have this opportunity to work with our staff and WOEF board member to bring these new ideas to life 

WOPS Administrator

I have been a part of the West Ottawa Public Schools community for the past 20 years as a teacher, coach, assistant principal, head high school principal, and now serve as the Assistant Superintendent of Instruction. I also have four children who attend school in the district. Through my work in curriculum evaluation and development across the district, I am fortunate to have a front row seat for the innovative teaching and learning taking place in our classrooms. Our district is blessed to have supportive community groups such as the WOEF who continue to creatively seek ways to support educators, while also aligning to overall district goals. It has been a pleasure to observe the hearts and minds of WOEF members working collectively toward Equity and Access for all students.
